Mr. Said Ali Majani has held various positions in different organizations. He worked as a Data Entry Clerk at Plan International for a one-month contract. At Coastal Marine and Resource for Development (COMRED), he served as a Field Officer from November 2015 to August 2016. He worked as a T.O.T (Trainer of Trainers) at Liaison Consulting from November 2014 to May 2015, specifically for the ongoing Uwezo Fund project. As a Field Officer/Community Facilitator at Diani Chale Management Trust from February 2010 to July 2013, he was responsible for conducting trainings, surveys, data collection, community mobilization, and reporting. He also worked as a Teacher/Computer Lab Attendant at Darul Ulum Secondary School from February to November 2008, contributing to the digitalization of students and increasing revenue from computer classes. Additionally, he served as a Teacher at Gombato Secondary School from January to November 2009, participating as the games master and ensuring discipline. During his time as the Interim School Principal at Ukunda Secondary School from March to September 2011, he successfully registered the school with the Ministry of Education and significantly increased the student population. He worked as an Enumerator at the Kenya Bureau of Statistics for one month, and as a Presiding Officer for the Interim Independent Electoral Commission in August 2010, conducting training, vote counting, and result announcement. Lastly, he served as a T.O.T/Presiding Officer for the Electoral Board and Boundary Commission for a period of two months.

Currently, he serves as a Board Member at Diani Municipal. Additionally, He is a member of the Board of Management (BOM) at Mabokoni Primary. He has been actively involved as the Chairman of the County Bursary for Gombato Bongwe ward. His dedication extends to his involvement with The Association of Madrasa Kenya (À. m. K. E). He has also worked as a community mobilizer at Ummulqura Integrated ECDE (Early Childhood Development and Education). Furthermore, he has been serving as a Teacher/Ustadh/Imam at Saifullah Islamic Centre in Ukunda Mbuwani.
